Operating the vehicle

The driver must always maintain control of the vehicle to ensure they can fulfill their duty of care.

The driver must ensure that they are not hindered by the load or any other factors. Passengers should not obstruct or disturb the driver.

The driver must focus on the road and traffic. They should not engage in activities that make it difficult to operate the vehicle, such as using a phone without a hands-free device. Additionally, the driver must ensure that their attention is not distracted by radios or other sound devices.

Drivers of motor vehicles, motorcycles, and bicycles must keep a firm grip on the steering device, and cyclists must keep their feet on the pedals.
