This policy covers www.fahrlehrer24.ch. It applies accordingly to the Web App at app.fahrlehrer24.ch and to the apps on the App Store and Google Play unless stated otherwise there.
We process personal data under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP). For visitors from the EU/EEA the GDPR applies in addition: our legitimate interest in a secure, working and economically viable service (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), performance of a contract for orders (point b) and your consent for advertising cookies (point a), which you grant or refuse through your browser settings.
The website is delivered through the network of Cloudflare, Inc. (USA), which has a European subsidiary. When a page is requested, Cloudflare processes technically necessary data: IP address, time, requested address, browser and operating system, referring page. This data is used for delivery, protection against attacks and error analysis and is deleted after a short time. Cloudflare is certified under the Swiss-US and EU-US Data Privacy Framework; transfers additionally rely on standard contractual clauses.
On some pages we show notices about driving schools in your region. For this, your browser asks our own endpoint /api/geo for the approximate location that Cloudflare derives from your connection (country, postcode, approximate coordinates). This information stays in the browser for the session, is not stored by us, not linked with other data and not passed on to the driving schools. No cookie is set.
We use Google Analytics 4 by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, to understand how our pages and the Web App are used (page views, time on page, source, device, clicks on app links). Google Analytics sets cookies (_ga, _ga_<ID>, up to 2 years) and links visits between www.fahrlehrer24.ch and app.fahrlehrer24.ch. Google Analytics 4 does not store IP addresses; data may be processed on servers in the USA (Data Privacy Framework, standard contractual clauses). Usage data is retained for 14 months. To object: install the Google Analytics opt-out add-on (tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout) or block cookies in your browser.
We run ads through Google Ads and measure whether a click on an ad leads to a visit or an action on our website (conversion tracking). Google sets cookies for this (e.g. _gcl_au, up to 90 days). Visitors may also be added to remarketing lists so that our ads can be shown to them later on other websites. The provider is Google Ireland Limited. You can turn off personalised advertising at adssettings.google.com.
Cookies are small text files stored by your browser. This website sets no cookies of its own; the Google services named above set the cookies described. You can delete or block cookies in your browser at any time. The website remains fully usable without cookies.
When a driving school orders access codes for the Web App, we collect the data needed for the order (e-mail address, package, payment confirmation). Payment by credit card or TWINT is handled by our payment provider; we do not receive full card details. Order data is processed on our system at login.fahrlehrer24.ch and deleted after the statutory retention period (10 years, accounting). The codes are sent by e-mail to the address given.
For the Web App you sign in with a Google or Apple account; we receive an identifier and the e-mail address of that account to store your learning progress and access rights. Purchases in the apps are handled by Apple or Google; we receive no payment data. The apps send anonymous usage statistics to Google Analytics (see above).
If you write to us, we process your details to answer your request. We keep e-mails as long as needed to handle the request and follow-up questions, at most two years, unless a statutory retention duty applies.
Our pages link to the App Store, Google Play, the official demo test (cut-demo.ch), smartrider.ch, the BFU and websites of partner driving schools. Their operators are responsible for their content and data processing.
All connections are encrypted with TLS. We apply strict browser security policies (Content Security Policy, HSTS) and load scripts only from the providers named here.
You have the right to access your personal data, to have it corrected, deleted or handed over, and to object to its processing. Please contact info@fahrlehrer24.ch.
