Basic rule
Driving is allowed only in the direction of the arrow.
Entry from the opposite direction is forbidden (signed "No entry").

Swiss Driving Theory · RTA / TRO
A one-way street may be driven in one direction only. It keeps order in narrow neighbourhoods and on busy routes.
Driving is allowed only in the direction of the arrow.
Entry from the opposite direction is forbidden (signed "No entry").
Within the one-way street there is no oncoming traffic – so overtaking is possible under the general conditions.
If the one-way street is signed with the supplementary plate "Bikes permitted" (contraflow cycling), bikes may ride against the flow. Then expect oncoming cyclists, even when you are travelling "with the arrow".
In one-way streets you may – where permitted – park on both sides of the road, as there is no oncoming traffic. Still observe the other stopping and parking bans and keep a sufficient passage width.
As there is no oncoming traffic, you get in lane on the far left to turn left and on the far right to turn right.
