Swiss Regulatory Signs
Regulatory signs prescribe what is permitted or prohibited. They are usually round with a red border (prohibition) or blue (mandatory). Switzerland has many regulatory signs in accordance with the SSV – they govern speeds, directions, vehicle types and much more.
Why know regulatory signs?
Regulatory signs are among the most frequent traffic signs. Misreading them risks fines, demerit points or worse. Reliable recognition of all regulatory signs is mandatory – both at the driving test and in daily traffic.
