Swiss Danger Signs
Danger signs warn of hazards on the road. They are triangular with a red border on a white background. Switzerland has 28 danger signs in accordance with the SSV (signalling regulation). Knowing these signs is the basis for correct behaviour in traffic.
Why know danger signs?
Danger signs announce hazardous situations – bends, junctions, pedestrians, wildlife crossings and more. Recognising them allows you to react in time and protect yourself and others. Understanding danger signs is also the foundation for many traffic situations assessed at the driving test.
