Vehicle Width Regulations
- Maximum Width: Motor vehicles and trailers can be a maximum of 2.55 meters wide. Air-conditioned vehicles may be up to 2.6 meters wide.
- Load Overhang: If any load or part of a load extends more than 1 meter beyond the rear of the vehicle, it must be marked with a signal body (such as a sphere or pyramid) to ensure visibility and safety.

Load Regulations for Vehicles
- Visibility: Only loads that do not obstruct visibility are allowed on loading areas in front of and next to the driver’s seat.
- Load Extensions:
- Front: Loads may not extend more than 3.00 meters in front of the vehicle.
- Rear: Loads may not extend more than 5.00 meters behind the center of the rear axle or the pivot point of the rear axles of vehicles and trailers.
- Lateral Protrusion: Loads must not protrude laterally over multi-track motor vehicles and trailers.
- Maximum Weight: The total weight of vehicles, including loads, must not exceed the maximum specified in the vehicle registration document.
- Height Limit: The combined height of vehicles and loads must not exceed 4 meters.
- Length Limits:
- Articulated Vehicles: Maximum length without load is 16.50 meters.
- Trailer Trains: Maximum length without load is 18.75 meters.
- Other Vehicles: Maximum length without load is 12.00 meters.
- Roof Racks: The combined weight of roof racks and their load must not exceed 50 kg. A higher weight may be approved by the registration authority based on the vehicle manufacturer’s guarantee, documented in the vehicle registration.
