A main road is the “more important” road (often wider, marked with a yellow sign). Whoever is on the main road has priority over everyone else.

The rule

Whoever is on the main road has priority over everyone coming from a secondary road.

The “main road” sign is a yellow diamond (standing on one corner). If you see it, you have priority.

Remember: The main road beats the secondary road – always.
